Yes, the world keeps revolving and the Grace trial continues.
I have not posted on the Grace trial the last two weeks; rather, I have been following it on the University of Montana blog http://blog.umt.edu/gracecase/. I have said it before; this is an excellent blog and provides the law students and the journalist students a chance to learn at an actual trial. I wonder of other universities with law schools and journalism schools will follow suit?
Back to Grace. The last two weeks has brought a certain rhythm to the case. The government presents and the defense objects and cross-examines. The government has now put on several experts. Aubry Miller, tried to explain the science behind asbestos; then the government presented research chemist with hamster studies. The trial did get a little juicy when the government started putting former Grace employees on the stand: James Becker a former Grace financial analyst and Robert Locke who held several different positions within Grace. I am not going to do justice to the testimony. The blog is doing that . . . so check it out.
More later.
